What Is Street Spinnin?
Street Spinnin® is an original street-performance art form created by Danner. It represents a new evolution of freestyle basketball, combining basketball spinning, athletic creativity, urban environments, and impossible-looking trick sequences into a style unlike anything else in the world.
Through Street Spinnin®, Danner has pioneered never-before-seen basketball spinning tricks and techniques, pushing the boundaries of what many believed was possible. Rather than simply building upon existing freestyle basketball, Street Spinnin® introduces a completely new approach that transforms both the ball and the surrounding environment into part of the performance.
Using everyday street objects such as poles, curbs, rails, walls, signs, and other obstacles, Danner performs highly technical spinning tricks that transform ordinary environments into a stage for creativity, entertainment, and inspiration.
However, Street Spinnin® is more than athletic skill and creativity alone.
At its core, Street Spinnin® is also a living testimony of Danner's relationship with God. While countless hours of practice, persistence, and experimentation have helped develop the craft, Danner believes many of the ideas, abilities, breakthroughs, and even the never-before-seen tricks behind Street Spinnin® have come through God's guidance, inspiration, and power working in his life. Although Danner created Street Spinnin® and developed its unique style, he gives God all the credit for every gift, opportunity, and breakthrough that made it possible.
For Danner, the movement serves as visible evidence that God wants to be involved in every area of a person's life—including their passions, talents, creativity, athletics, business ventures, and dreams. The tricks themselves become part of the testimony, demonstrating what Danner believes is possible when someone fully surrenders their gifts and ambitions to God and allows Him to work through them.
Street Spinnin® was never created to become another traditional sport. It exists as a one-of-a-kind performance art, ministry tool, public demonstration of creativity, perseverance, faith, and God's ability to work through someone in extraordinary ways, while standing as a new evolution of freestyle basketball unlike anything that has existed before.
Through entertainment and thought-provoking content, Street Spinnin® seeks to challenge cultural beliefs, create meaningful conversations, and introduce people to Jesus Christ.
The Story
Athletics have always been a major part of Danner's life.
He discovered a passion for basketball at age seven. From then on, he spent nearly every day at the YMCA, honing his skills through pickup games, YBOA, AAU, middle school, and high school competition. As a young adult, he continued challenging himself against Division I and semi-professional players. Outside of basketball, Danner also spent years skateboarding, surfing, and participating in nearly every other major sport.
in 5th grade, Danner began learning how to spin a basketball on his finger. What started as a simple skill eventually evolved into years of experimentation involving all five fingers, elbows, knees, body control, and increasingly difficult trick combinations.
Alongside athletics was another lifelong passion: creativity.
After high school, Danner pursued graphic design, digital art, and streetwear design, eventually launching his own independent clothing brand and developing a creative mindset that would later shape everything Street Spinnin® would become.
While living and working in New York City in 2018, these two worlds collided.
Danner began experimenting with spinning tricks that pushed far beyond traditional ball spinning. Instead of simply spinning a basketball on one finger, he began incorporating the environment itself.
Poles became obstacles.
Walls became tools.
Street objects became opportunities.
The ideas continued growing, but the full vision had not yet arrived.
When Everything Changed
In 2023, Danner moved to Los Angeles.
What followed was one of the most difficult seasons of his life.
During that time, he fully surrendered his life to God, began overcoming serious addictions, worked jobs far outside his educational background, and lived in RVs while trying to rebuild his future.
One day, after moving into a new RV, Danner noticed a basketball belonging to his roommate.
As he looked at the ball, a shimmer came over it and he immediately felt God calling him back to the game.
The moment he picked up the ball, the concepts and ideas he had been developing years earlier suddenly returned, along with an overwhelming flood of new possibilities.
As he continued practicing and trusting God, Street Spinnin® began taking shape.
What once seemed like random tricks became something entirely different.
A unique performance art.
A unique ministry tool.
A unique testimony.
Street Spinnin® was born.
Forged Through Fire
The vision continued growing, but so did the challenges.
During 2025, Danner endured a 6 month season of homelessness while living in Los Angeles.
Despite uncertainty, exhaustion, and some of the hardest circumstances he had ever faced, he continued developing the vision for Street Spinnin®.
While fighting through addiction recovery, spiritual battles, instability, and countless obstacles, he spent countless hours refining tricks, developing plans, and seeking God's direction.
What emerged from that season was not simply a collection of tricks.
It became a testimony.
A reminder that God often builds extraordinary things in places where nobody expects them.

The Mission
Street Spinnin® exists to challenge stereotypes.
Many people assume Christianity is boring, outdated, restrictive, or disconnected from creativity and culture.
Street Spinnin® stands as evidence that those assumptions are wrong.
The goal is not simply to perform tricks.
The goal is to use something visually captivating and culturally unique to start conversations, inspire people, and point them toward Christ.
Street Spinnin® is proof that God can work through talents, passions, creativity, athletics, art, and even the darkest seasons of life.
The Invitation
Street Spinnin® is ultimately an invitation.
An invitation to believe in God.
An invitation to pursue the gifts He has placed inside you.
An invitation to stop worrying about what the world thinks and begin using your talents boldly for His glory.
You do not need to have everything figured out.
You simply need to be willing to trust Him.

Danner is currently residing in a homeless shelter and has been for the past six months. Despite the challenges, he remains committed to the vision God has given him through Street Spinnin®. Any financial support is sincerely appreciated and will help provide stability, secure housing, and allow him to continue growing the movement, creating content, and using Street Spinnin® as a platform to share the Gospel and his testimony. He does have a business plan and is willing to talk to serious people.
